On 11-19 October, we’re inviting you to help spring clean the city.
In October 2024, we ran the first Spring Clean campaign and it was a huge success. We had all sorts of contributions including cleaning, painting, waterblasting, graffiti-removal, planting, artwork creations and general spring clean transformations. Springtime is the best time to take a deep breath, shake off the winter drab, and embrace the optimism of brighter days.
Spring Clean is an encouragement to all innercity businesses, organisations and anyone who uses the city, to roll up your sleeves, and make the city really sparkle.
We're encouraging businesses and groups to initiate their own projects to support the campaign. It might be cleaning, planting, or a general tidy up - a little effort has big results!

You can also join volunteer teams in enhancing our community spaces by revitalising gardens and removing graffiti.
