Are you tired of being shut up inside the house, dying to get your hands back in the dirt and feel mother nature around you once more? Me too! Join me at this early March make and take where you will create 2 of your very own spring planters to take home and enjoy as the season warms up and the sun returns. What could be more satisfying that surrounding yourself with like-minded gardeners and gossiping about our plans for this year’s garden. Pictures show the 8 varieties of tulips we have to offer.
As always if the weather permits, we will most definitely take a stroll thru the garden and see if we can find some of the earliest blooms making their way towards the sun.
Here is the dirt (all the things you need to know)
Each person will be making 2 pots to take home with you, I will give you instructions on how to care for them thru the spring season and what to do with them after they are done blooming.
If you would like to make more than 2 pots, you can certainly do that. Each additional pot will cost $20
You may purchase additional bulbs if you would like. Tulips are available for prepurchase here on the website. Daffodils and Muscari will be available at the workshop if there are any left over. Please bring cash to purchase bulbs at the workshop.
If you would like to bring your own pots from home you may do so, you will receive 10 tulip bulbs, 4 Daffodil, and 6 Muscari with the purchase of a workshop ticket. There will be additional bulbs for purchase if you would like. There will be an additional charge for soil if your pots are large.
please no one under the age of 12
We will be outside (under cover) so please dress appropriately.
Each person attending must purchase a ticket
We will be walking thru the gardens so please wear appropriate shoes and clothing for the weather. There may be uneven ground and mud
