About this Event
Discover one of Martin County’s most extraordinary natural wonders on this spring morning beach walk—a unique experience that brings you up close to the heart of Florida’s coastal conservation story.
Martin County is home to some of the most important loggerhead sea turtle nesting beaches in the world, playing a vital role in the survival of these ancient creatures. Every year, thousands of sea turtles return to our shores to nest, continuing a cycle that has been part of this coastline for millions of years. This incredible phenomenon is not just a spectacle of nature—it is woven into the history, culture, and spirit of the Martin County community.
This engaging program provides a deeper understanding of sea turtle biology, nesting behavior, and the conservation efforts that protect these magnificent creatures. As we walk along the beach, you’ll learn about the critical role Martin County plays in global sea turtle conservation and how our community has embraced its responsibility as a guardian of these fragile nesting grounds.
Join us for this unforgettable experience and become part of the story—one that connects nature, history, and the deep-rooted commitment of Martin County to preserving its most iconic wildlife.
