About this Event
Japanese Cooking Demo – Onigiri (for Teens)
Japanese Cooking Demo – Onigiri is a free, interactive cultural program that introduces teens to Japanese food traditions through one of Japan’s most iconic everyday dishes: onigiri (rice balls).
Participants will learn how onigiri connects to daily life in Japan, from school lunches and convenience stores to family kitchens and seasonal traditions. The program explores how food reflects culture, community, and care, while offering teens a hands-on look at Japanese culinary customs and ingredients.
