About this Event
Overview
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is one of the defining global health challenges of our time. As awareness campaigns grow louder and more creative, we must ask: what exactly are we spreading?
This talk explores how AMR messages travel in its various form across communities, media platforms, and policy spaces as examples and why well-intentioned campaigns can sometimes create unintended consequences.
Drawing on global health perspectives and personal experience, this session will unpack how narratives shape public understanding, trust, and action on AMR. Together, we’ll explore how to build smarter, more responsible campaigns that mobilise change rather than misinformation.
