Everybody’s talking about AI, and Life’s special one-day event separates the facts from fiction. Get interactive at our latest Spotlight Day, as you discover AIs ability to be creative, biased, sneaky, and, in a special Formula AI race, fast!
Transform into an AI stick figure using a special camera, let a story unravel with interesting prompts, and experiment with the fun, and also practical, uses for AI.
Meet scientists from Northumbria and Newcastle universities who are working in the North East to develop, monitor, and utilise AI tools, and learn how AI affects everyday life .
Highlights include:
👤 Turn yourself into a stick figure in real-time using an AI camera
🎲 Use giant story dice to prompt some AI creative writing – see what adventures you can take yourself on
🕴🏿 Explore the bias in AI through a series of AI generated images of people in different professions
🏎️ See if you can beat a self-driving vehicle around a mini racetrack in Formula AI
All included in your science centre ticket. This event will run in addition to the usual exhibits and activities.
