Tucked between Burgundy and the Swiss border, the Jura is one of France's smallest yet most fascinating wine regions. Renowned for its spectacular landscapes, limestone soils and centuries-old traditions, the Jura produces wines unlike any other. Here, native grape varieties and distinctive winemaking techniques come together to create bottles of remarkable character, complexity and authenticity.
In this tasting, we'll journey through the region's diverse styles, beginning with elegant Crémant du Jura before exploring fresh, mineral-driven Chardonnay, the iconic Savagnin, expressive Trousseau and the legendary Vin Jaune and Macvin. Along the way, we'll discover how the Jura's cool climate, marl and limestone soils, and unique approach to ageing have shaped a winemaking culture that has remained true to its roots for generations.
Together we'll explore the differences between topped-up (ouillé) and oxidative (sous voile) winemaking, uncover the origins of the famous flor yeast that defines Vin Jaune, and learn why the Jura has become one of the world's most exciting regions for adventurous wine lovers. Whether you're discovering these wines for the first time or revisiting old favourites, prepare for an evening of unique flavours, rich history and unforgettable wines.

- Domaine Grand Côtes du Jura Chardonnay – Fresh, citrus, saline
- Domaine Courbet Tradition Chardonnay-Savagnin – Nutty, textured, savoury
- Domaine Courbet Savagnin – Oxidative, walnut, complex
- Domaine Grand Trousseau – Spicy, vibrant, silky
- Domaine Grand Vin Jaune– Powerful, curry, walnut
- Domaine Grand Macvin Blanc– sweet white raisin, roses, Earl Grey tea
The tasting will be accompanied by a selection of snacks to complete the experience.
