This one is a little bit special. It combines two of our favourite things - gin and sewing!
Scheduled two weeks before our planned quilt show, we'll be holed up at the Wagon and Horses in Chapeltown finishing off the last of the hand sewing - slip stitching binding and sewing on labels - so that the final few quilts are ready to display and then donate.
Wetherspoons are going to cordon off some space for us, so we really do need to know in advance who is planning to attend, to make sure we have enough room - please do message the page, or let us know some other way (carrier pigeons are always appreciated) if you would like to come.
There will be bottomless cups of coffee available to fuel us, and I suspect most of us will also spring for lunch (please don't bring your own sarnies for this one!).
We might also be aware of at least one committee member who has already booked a taxi home. You know who you are....
