🎃 Ready to shake off your cobwebs and boogie down this Halloween season? 👻 Curious about the thrilling world of swing dancing but don’t know where to start? Join us for our regular social dances and let our friendly instructors guide you through the spooktacular basics of swing!At Shack, dancers of all ages have been brewing up their Swing skills, conjuring styles like Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, Charleston, Blues, and Balboa. You might even witness hauntingly good solo routines like the Shim Sham, Big Apple, or Trankee Doo. 🕷️🕸️
Our goal? To have you smiling like a jack-o'-lantern while you practice this magical thing called “Swing Dancing!”
🎺 6:45 pm - Doors creak open
🎺 7:00 - 7:30 pm - Absolute Beginners Taster Class (perfect for spirits new to swing!)
🎺 7:30 – 10:00 pm - Social Dancing
🎺 Cost: $15 Cash or card facilities at the door (no tricks, only treats)
Feel free to come dressed in your favourite Halloween costume and add some extra magic to the night! 🎃🧙♂️👻 Costumes are welcome, but not required—just bring your dancing shoes! 💃🕺

The lights will be low, the disco ball spinning like a full moon, and we’ll be dancing the night away with Brisbane’s spine-tingling Swing DJs. The music will cover a variety of tempos, so whether you're swinging out with Lindy Hop or Balboa or haunting the floor with a Charleston, there’s a beat for every ghoul and goblin. 🎶🎃
