The Splash Pad at Public Square opens Thursday, August 6, in Uptown Plain City! ✨
Join us for the Grand Opening Ceremony at 5:30 PM at 134 Church Street as we celebrate this exciting new addition to our community. It’s shaping up to be a full evening of fun on August 6, which will also include the Parks Master Plan Open House from 5-7 PM at The Depot, as well as the Plain City Farmers Market in the adjacent parking lot from 5-7:30 PM.
💧The new splash pad features:
• 12 interactive fountains with rotating water features.
• A unique painted compass design with professional non-slip coating.
• Artificial turf area with chairs, a brick seating wall, accessible walkways, and beautiful new landscaping.
👙 Bring your swimsuits for the Splash Pad Grand Opening!
Following the ceremony, the splash pad will officially open for everyone to enjoy. Children and adults are encouraged to come dressed in their swim attire and ready to make a splash!
The Splash Pad is FREE and will be open daily from 8 AM to 9 PM following the grand opening.
🌳 Parks Master Plan Open House: Explore concept boards and displays outside The Depot, talk with the Parks Master Plan Committee, and help shape the vision for Plain City’s parks, including improvements to Pastime Park and the future community park at the former RANCO property.
🧑🌾 Plain City Farmers Market: Browse fresh local produce, handmade goods, delicious food, live music by Andy Leer, face painting, Miller’s Ice Cream, and the Hibachi Hut food truck while supporting local vendors.
