Devotion in Action: Lions Unite for Sacred Service in Tigan, Madhyapur Thimi
A historic and sacred site located in Ward No. 9, Tigan, Madhyapur Thimi Municipality, had its access road severely damaged by a landslide, making it difficult for pilgrims and devotees to reach. In this time of need, selfless social workers from various Lions Clubs came together for a noble cause—offering their time and labor through voluntary service (Janashramdaan) to restore the path to this spiritual site.
To honor and appreciate their dedication, the volunteers were served curd, buttermilk, and water—a humble yet heartfelt gesture of gratitude for their commitment to service.
The following Lions Clubs took part in this sacred mission:

This meaningful activity began in the first week of July 2025, marking the start of the Lions Year 2025/2026, and has continued every Saturday with unwavering spirit and unity.
This service was not just about clearing a path—it was about preserving faith, protecting heritage, and promoting harmony between humanity and the environment. When religion, service, and community come together, the true spirit of Lionism shines through.
Inspired by our International President Lion A.P. Singh's powerful motto:
"Lead to Serve, Serve to Lead"
and our District 325 H Governor's inspiring vision:
"Spreading with Happiness through Services",
we, the Lions family, are committed to making these slogans meaningful through real action.
Let us protect nature, preserve our spiritual traditions, and let the world recognize Lions through our sacred acts of service.
This initiative is a reflection of our identity—rooted in service, guided by values, and driven by compassion.
