Spirit of ’45 Day at the Silent Wings Museum is all about gratitude. Join our Curator for a detailed discussion of the significance of the medals and decorations earned by American Glider Pilots in our latest exhibit, From a Grateful Nation: Honoring the American World War II Glider Pilot, brought to you with the generous support of the Helen Jones Foundation.
The Silent Wings Museum is pleased to offer presentations all afternoon and opportunities to express gratitude for the efforts of citizens of all ages and abilities on the Home Front.
We honor the men who flew the unique CG-4A gliders in missions behind enemy lines and the home front heroes who made their service possible
