Spill the T - Vol. 4: Future Everything presents an intimate two hour workshop for artists looking to get ‘grant ready’.
About this Event

Welcome to "Spill the T"; a series of talks designed to inspire, educate, and foster meaningful discussions among the vibrant community of creatives in Manchester. Join us as we dive into expert-led insights, share experiences, and learn from one another's journeys.

We’ve got Future Everything joining us for the fourth instalment of Spill the T, the event will discuss 'How to Get Money to Make Art'.

Want to develop your creative practice but first need to secure funding? Got a great idea for an arts project and looking to make a funding application, but don’t know where to start? Had a grant application rejected and want to gain some insight to better prepare for next time?

Join us for How to Get Money to Make Art, an intimate workshop designed to set you on the path towards getting ‘grant ready’!

During this intimate two hour long workshop led by FutureEverything’s Jonathan McGrath, an arts professional with over 20 years experience in the sector, and Hattie Kongaunruan, an artist in her own right who has successfully navigated the grant funding landscape, you’ll gain a basic understanding of arts funding. You’ll get insider tips on how to assemble the organisational foundations of a project, learn the types of vocabulary to use (and avoid) in your application, and which venues and funding opportunities might be best suited to you and your artistic practice.

So come with a project in mind and get guidance to make your idea a reality.

Where will the workshop take place?

This is an in-person session taking place at SEESAW space in Manchester, places are

limited and you will need to register on Eventbrite via the link below. If you would like to

attend, but are unable to make it in person, then join the Zoom livestream where you’ll be

able to access the session and your questions will be answered in a follow up email at a

later date.
