Vault Manchester Summer Series 2 Inc Hammer

We are back for two summer pole vault competitions at Manchester's Regional Athletics Arena . In 2024 we have added open hammer competitions in collaboration with local coaches.

Competition format is 2 waves on 2 pits for pole vault starting at 17:30 for wave 1 and ~19:30 for wave 2. Entries capped at 40 for pole vault due to time constraints.

For hammer we are planning either 2 pools of 12 or 3 pools of 8 depending on entries. First competition starts at 17:00.

As ever the arena will be noisy and spectators will be allowed up close. There is no charge for spectator entry for the event. This is a world athletics ranking competition (Category F) therefore all marks will count towards world athletics rankings and will be applicable for major championship qualification.

Entries open at 19:00 May 27th and Close Midnight June 27th. Seedings will be sent out June 28th. Anti-Doping regulations will apply as below:

An entrant shall be deemed to have made him/herself/their self, familiar with, and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules.
The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of Athletics, for 12 months from the [date of entry], whether or not the licence holder is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK.
