About this Event
Spending the Autumn Equinox With Your Soul
An Extended Forest Bathing Experience for Mabon

Tuesday, September 22 | 10:00 AM–1:00 PM
Hogback Ridge Park
Investment: $44

The Autumn Equinox is a beautiful threshold—a moment of balance between light and dark and an invitation to slow down, turn inward, and listen.

Spend this seasonal turning point with your soul.

Join Breathe with Jillian for a special 3-hour extended forest bathing experience inspired by the Autumn Equinox and Mabon. Surrounded by the changing forest at Hogback Ridge, we’ll step away from schedules, screens, and everyday noise and spend the morning reconnecting with nature, ourselves, and the season.

This is not a fitness hike. 🌿

Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing, we’ll move slowly and intentionally through the landscape, allowing plenty of time to wander, notice, breathe, create, reflect, and simply be.

🍂 Our Autumn Equinox Experience May Include

🌿 Guided Forest Bathing
Slow, sensory invitations designed to help you become present with the forest and reconnect with your natural rhythms.

🍁 Autumn Equinox + Mabon Reflection
Explore the themes of balance, gratitude, harvest, release, transition, and the gradual turning inward that accompanies autumn.

🧘 Gentle Breath + Mindful Movement
Simple grounding practices inspired by yoga and energy work to help settle the body and awaken the senses.

Soulful Sit Spot
Time to find your own quiet place in the forest to sit, listen, journal, reflect, or simply be with yourself.

🎨 Nature-Based Creative Reflection
A simple seasonal art or journaling invitation inspired by the landscape and your own inner harvest.

🔔 Sound Meditation + Deep Rest
Settle into stillness with restorative sound and tuning forks as we integrate our time together.

🍵 Seasonal Closing Ritual
We'll gather again to honor the Equinox, reflect on what we are harvesting from this season of life, and welcome the transition into autumn.

🍎 A Morning to Ask...

What am I harvesting?
What am I ready to release?
Where am I being invited back into balance?
What does my soul want me to notice before I enter the quieter seasons?

You don't need any experience with forest bathing, yoga, meditation, or seasonal ritual. Come exactly as you are.

This experience is intentionally spacious. We aren't trying to cover miles or reach a destination.

The forest is the destination.

Come spend the Autumn Equinox differently.

Less rushing.
Less screen time.
More trees.
More noticing.
More wonder.
More time with your soul. 🍂

🌧️ Weather + Rain Plan

This experience is designed to be enjoyed outdoors in the changing autumn landscape.

Light rain won't stop us! Forest bathing in a gentle rain can be especially peaceful and sensory. When possible, we will make use of the shelter house for portions of our gathering.

If inclement or unsafe weather makes gathering outdoors unsuitable, the experience will transition to a virtual Autumn Equinox gathering so we can still slow down, connect, and honor the turning of the season together from home.

Participants will receive an email with any weather-related updates or changes before the event.
