Defensive Rifle II picks up where Defensive Rifle ends. Topics discussed include fixing stoppages common to semi-automatic and repeating rifles, emergency and tactical reloads, transition to a pistol, engaging multiple targets, and dynamic movement between firing positions. We may cover more depending upon class size and student performance.
You must have taken Defensive Rifle or an equivalent class before taking this course.
Required Gear:
-Open mind
-Quality zeroed semi-automatic rifle, braced pistol, pistol caliber carbine (PPC), or repeating rifle.
-Sling attached to Rifle
-300 rounds of factory ammo for your rifle
-Three 30-round magazines or five 20-round magazines
-Quality pistol (mid to full size preferred).
-Two magazines for your pistol. Four if the magazines hold ten or less
-Quality Holster for your pistol.
-50 rounds of factory ammo for your pistol
-Eye and ear protection
Recommended Gear:
-Knee and elbow pads
-Method to carry rifle magazines
-Hat
-Raingear
-Sunscreen
