SPECIAL VETERANS DAY HOME GARDEN EXCHANGE 🇺🇸 Hosted by the 49% Collective

Join us for a relaxed, community-centered Veterans Day gathering at Vacation Isle in beautiful San Diego. Bring your family, your picnic setup, and enjoy an afternoon and evening of connection, sharing, and appreciation for veterans.
WHEN: Wednesday, November 11, 2026 | 2:00–8:00 PM Pacific
ARRIVAL: Come as you like! We’re on casual 'stoner time' before 4:20 PM. If you want to gather with everyone, aim to be there around 4:20 PM. Our team expects to arrive earlier to set up and enjoy the island.
WHAT TO BRING:
• Your own family picnic setup, chairs, blankets, and anything you need to be comfortable
• Homegrown produce, handmade crafts, food, or other items to contribute potluck-style
• Something to share or trade, if you wish. Please communicate clearly with each person whether an item is offered as a gift/share or as a trade, and agree on the exchange before proceeding.
FOOD & COMMUNITY:
• Potluck contributions welcome; BBQs welcome where park rules permit
• Sugabear plans to offer delicious prepared plates for purchase—come hungry!
• Skunky's Shaved Ice may join us, along with other community-minded friends (not confirmed)
• A bonfire may be possible only in designated, permitted areas and subject to local fire/park rules
This is not a brand-exposure event. It is about building the 49% Collective community, supporting one another, celebrating Veterans Day, and enjoying time together.
