This isn't your typical solo act. Brody plays everything — simultaneously. Guitar in his hands, harmonica on a rack, feet working the kick and snare, all while delivering high-energy blues that won him 1st place Best Harmonica and 2nd place Solo/Duo at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis.
The man started as a child prodigy, jamming on Beale Street and sharing stages with Quincy Jones, Chaka Khan, and Keb' Mo'. B.B. King took him under his wing and let him perform at his club for years. B.B.'s assessment? "One of the greatest harmonica players of our time." That's not us talking. That's B.B. King.
On Saturday, March 7th, Brody brings that energy to Mouth of the South. One of the only live music brunch spots in Omaha — and definitely the only one hosting a one-man band who sounds like a full rock and blues outfit.
