Participants raise pledges leading up to the event, and every dollar helps provide year-round, inclusive programming for Special Olympics Nebraska athletes in sports, health, education, and leadership.
❄️ What the Polar Plunge Is
The Polar Plunge is a high-energy fundraiser where participants raise pledges and then take an icy dip to support Special Olympics Nebraska. It’s a spirited tradition filled with costumes, teamwork, and community pride.
❄️ What to Expect
Plungers must raise a minimum of $50 to participate. Costumes are encouraged, and Beatrice will award:
• 🥇 Top 3 Fundraisers
• 🎭 Best Costume
After the plunge, warm up and celebrate at American Legion Post 27 (701 Dorsey St, Beatrice).
