We have 4 remaining spaces for CHAIR YOGA GUESTS and 2 remaining spaces for MAT YOGA GUESTS.
This special one of a kind, 4 day retreat is open to both mat yoga guests and chair yoga guests! (for seated or standing yoga and seated or lying down relaxation).
You do not need any previous yoga experience or any equipment, our retreats are an opportunity to claim some time for self care and enjoyment.
We have hosted many residential retreats at our lovely "home from home" venue and have always hoped to one day extend the invitation to those for whom chair yoga is more practical or comfortable. Please note the bedrooms are all on the first floor and only accessible by a staircase.
We are excited to host our first mixed group and imagine that there might be couples, friendships or family members that wouldn't ordinarily both be able to access a yoga retreat together.
Each of our previous retreats has been unique, refreshing and very special, leaving us with a long-lasting glow and we expect this new style will be EXTRA special!
You are welcome to take all the nourishment you need, from all sorts of lovely activities, as well as having time for rest, or to explore the lovely surrounding area.
Our venue is a beautifully refurbished former silk mill, set amongst gorgeous scenery in the heart of The Peak District, on the banks of the River Dane.
It offers lovely indoor areas (one will be set up for our mat yoga guests and the other for our chair yoga guests and those sessions will take place simultaneously, each being lead by either Debbie or Louise) and plenty of outdoor space where we will both lead the sessions and all be together.
We like to be outdoors as much as possible, weather permitting of course - beside the river for our yoga practices, exploring the spectacular scenery, maybe taking a dip or candle-lit evenings around the fire-pit to star gaze. The venue provides the perfect base to connect with nature and there are lots of lovely places to sit and access to footpaths in all directions.
We offer a generous programme of all the goodness that we can muster, including a variety of yoga and relaxation practices, but will urge you to do exactly as you like throughout the 4 days. You may crave time to be quiet and still or enjoy much needed human interaction. This is purely and simply time for you, to please yourself.
Friday 5th - Monday 8th September 2025, Gradbach Mill, Buxton SK17 OSU. Prices are £475 for single occupancy or £425 pp for a twin/ double. All rooms are en-suite, well maintained with lovely beds, bedding and showers. all food is plentiful and delicious. Please get in touch if you would like more information. We request a £100 deposit per person.
Please get in touch if you have any questions or would like to hear about our retreats from a guest's perspective. We can also usually arrange car- shares for those without transport or the people who prefer to travel to new places with company.
