The City of Sparks Hometowne Christmas celebration starts Friday, December 6, 2024, with the annual tree lighting ceremony from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with live entertainment and free hot chocolate! The tree is located next to the large gazebo on the corner of Victorian Avenue and Victorian Plaza Circle East. Mayor Ed Lawson will flip the switch to light the City’s permanent living Christmas tree, a 60-foot blue spruce. There's no better way to get in the holiday spirit!
