The 2024 Sparks Hometowne Christmas Parade will be celebrating 37 years of tradition on Saturday, December 7th. This year’s theme is A Cowboy Christmas! Let’s celebrate the best little parade in the west! Get out your boots and buckles, 10-gallon hats and haybales and join us for a holiday hoedown to celebrate the season and our western roots. Dress up and decorate in your favorite old west attire and show us how you celebrate Christmas the cowboy way!
The parade starts on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. starting at Pyramid, moving down Victorian Ave to Victorian Plaza Circle West. Come down early to get a photo with Santa or hang out afterward and see 39 North Pole with its light displays, food, entertainment, and crafters' village.
Schedule of events:
Parade Day Activities: 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Santa Photos at 39 North, presented by Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Sparks Hometowne Christmas Parade, 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
39 North Pole, 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
