She began playing piano at only 5 years of age and soon mastered the guitar, starting with the catalog of the musical idol of her youth, Taylor Swift. One of the first songs she ever performed in public was Swift’s smash hit, “Teardrops on My Guitar.” After many years of playing Swift’s songs in coffee houses, at weddings and for special events, Sammy Jo is regularly paying tribute to one of the best talents in modern music by fronting Sparks Fly: The Taylor Swift Experience.
