After losing a loved one, it can often feel as though time has stopped around us, while the world continues on unchanged. Sometimes it is hard to talk about what is happening inside us and to us—and perhaps even harder to experience that our surroundings cannot always accompany us in this.
In this grief support group, we offer a safe space: a place where you are free to say what you feel—or simply to be present in silence with whatever is there.
Grief is not a mistake. Not an illness. Not a “problem to be solved.” It is a natural human response to the loss of an important relationship. In this group, we do not ask you to “get over it”—only to come exactly as you are at the time being.
This 10-session group is a peer-support community with no expectations and no need to compare yourself to anyone else. You can be yourself in this safe, supportive space, where you don’t have to be “okay.” A community of people with shared experiences, where we can say what perhaps cannot be said elsewhere—and where silence is also welcome.

Details
Duration: 10 sessions, on Wednesday evenings
The group is open until the second session; it is possible to join until then. From the third session onward, the group becomes closed.

Time: 5:30–7:30 PM
Location: Budapest, District XI (near Kelenföld Railway Station)

Participation and Commitment:
After registration, there will be a short, 20-minute online interview. The fee for this is 1,000 HUF, which will be deducted from the fee of the first session if you participate.
The group is open for the first two sessions; after these, you can decide on full participation.
