Ethnobotany is the study of the interactions between humans and plants, including our use of plants for food, medicine, building material, and cultural symbols. This event is the fourth class of this year's Ethnobotany Immersion Program offered by the Raven's Roots Naturalist School. This program includes classes and field trips one weekend per month from March to December of 2026. This class is a deep dive into the plants growing around Southwestern Washington and their human uses. Each weekend of this course is priced at $300, which includes about 15 hours of instruction, materials, and the camping fee! For more information, visit ravensroots.org/ethnobotany.
