Southport Sustainable Sewing Workshops - All Things Tartan

Celebrate Burns Night with creativity, community, and a splash of Scottish flair! Join us for a tartan-themed upcycling workshop, inspired by The Great British Sewing Bee’s famous Transformation Challenge. We’ll take an array of beautiful tartan fabrics and turn them into unique, practical pieces – think tote bags, headwraps, cushion covers, and more.

Bring your sewing machine if you have one, but don’t worry if you don’t – we’ll cover hand-sewing techniques too. This is your chance to learn new skills, reduce textile waste, and create something truly special while enjoying the warmth of a friendly, social space.
