Southgate Carnival Summer Series Grand Prize Raffle Rules
Overview Southgate Academy will host three Southgate Carnival events during Summer 2026. Participants may earn raffle entries by attending events, referring guests, and completing qualifying registration activities. One winner will be selected to receive the Grand Prize: a 75-inch television.Participation in the raffle constitutes acceptance of these Official Rules.
Event Dates The Southgate Carnival events will be held on: Saturday, June 20, 2026, Saturday, July 18, 2026, and Saturday, August 8, 2026
The Grand Prize drawing will take place during the August 8, 2026 event.
Eligibility The raffle is open to individuals who: Are 18 years of age or older; or Have a parent or legal guardian participate on their behalf. Employees of Southgate Academy and their immediate family members may participate unless otherwise prohibited by school policy. No purchase, payment, donation, or enrollment is required to enter or win.Void where prohibited by law.
How to Earn Entries 1. Event Attendance Participants will receive: One (1) raffle entry for each Southgate Carnival event attended and properly signed in. Maximum attendance entries available: three (3) 2. Referrals Participants will receive:One (1) raffle entry for each new guest who lists them as the referring participant during event registration or sign-in. Referral entries are unlimited. To qualify: The referred guest must attend the event.The guest must identify the referring participant at sign-in. Self-referrals are not permitted. Southgate Academy reserves the right to verify referrals and disqualify fraudulent or duplicate referrals. 3. Student Registration Intent Form Participants will receive: Five (5) raffle entries for submitting a Student Registration Intent Form for the 2026–2027 school year. Only one Intent Form bonus may be awarded per family. Intent Forms must be complete and submitted by the close of the August 8, 2026 event. Southgate Academy reserves the right to verify all submitted forms.
Entry Accumulation Entries earned at any Southgate Carnival event will remain active throughout the entire Summer Series. All qualifying entries from June, July, and August events will be combined for the Grand Prize drawing. There is no maximum number of entries a participant may earn.
Grand PrizeOne (1) winner will receive: One 75-inch television
The prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or substituted except at the discretion of Southgate Academy. If the advertised prize becomes unavailable, Southgate Academy reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
Winner Selection The winner will be selected through a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Summer Series.The drawing will occur on or about August 8, 2026.The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Winner Notification The winner will be notified using the contact information provided during registration or event sign-in. If the selected winner:
Cannot be contacted, Fails to respond within seven (7) calendar days, Is determined to be ineligible, or Declines the prize, Southgate Academy may select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries.
Publicity Release By accepting the prize, the winner grants Southgate Academy permission to use their name, photograph, and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
General Conditions Southgate Academy reserves the right to: Verify participant eligibility, Verify referral claims, Disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process, Disqualify entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, or submitted in violation of these rules, and/or Modify, suspend, or cancel the raffle if circumstances beyond its control make administration impractical.
All decisions made by Southgate Academy regarding the raffle are final.
Privacy Information collected during participation will be used for event administration, raffle management, and school communications in accordance with Southgate Academy’s privacy practices. Personal information will not be sold to third parties.
