You are warmly invited to South Taranaki Funeral Services to remember those gone but not forgotten. This open Community Christmas Remembrance Service is an opportunity for anyone in our community to come together to honour and commemorate our loved ones who are unable to be with us these holidays. Our service will be followed by a delicious light supper including traditional Christmas pies and cake (no nuts).We also think of those who need a little help this time of year so a collection of non-perishable food items at this event is appreciated, these will be donated to the The Hāwera Foodbank to enable them to keep up their amazing work.
This event is also held with Hospice Taranaki (donations gratefully accepted but not expected).
This year, Jodi Muggeridge will be officiating, Brendan Gibbs giving a homily and Christmas prayer and some special opportunities to remember our loved ones - candle lighting, a memorial tree and a slide show. If you'd like to see your loved one acknowledged during the slide show, please email the birth date, date of death, and a photo to [email protected].
