CHRISTMAS SOSSynopsis
Elfie, one of Santa’s helpers team up with a Spiritual guide ‘the Drummer Boy” in the search for one last recipient of a special Christmas Miracle delivery.
It’s Christmas Eve:
Mary is a very Pregnant Teen, who has been living on the Street. She is camped outside the Department of Social Services in order to be the first in line to apply for a Loan subsidy to get an apartment before her baby arrives.
Joe is an older out of work “Elvis impersonator” who also arrives at the Social Service office needing a loan and fast as he has a plane to catch. The two are vying to be “First in Line” when Elfie & the Drummer turn up.
As the hopeful group wait for the Department to open, they also open up about themselves. Later, as Mary’s labor pains begin the “Magic” of Christmas takes over.
A modern twist to the Nativity Story including Baby Angels & a Funky Gospel Choir completes this Christmas Musical with songs everyone can sing along to.
CAST:
Small cast wanted Adults & Teens
Mary- Teenager 16-18 years Singer
Joe- 50’s + Singer preferred (Elvis impersonator character)
Elfie- Toymaker from the North Pole any age / gender Singer preferred
Drummer Boy- 10-15 years Singer
Funky Angel Choir- 16 years & above 4-5 required.
