Join this extraordinary journey of creativity and connection with your facilitator, Three Trees, a traditional drumming instructor, master sound healer, and Shamanic practitioner that's been birthing drums for 25yrs. You will get instructional guidance grounded in experience and wisdom that is unique to this special drum birthing event. This is more than a workshop, it's an immersive experience where you'll embrace the art of drum-making in a vibrant, joyous and Sacred atmosphere.
Picture yourself selecting a drum frame that resonates with your spirit, choosing between the majestic hides of Elk or Buffalo, and picking a mallet stick that speaks to your heart. As we soak and bless the hides, infusing them with your intentions, you'll feel the magic of this process unfold. Feel free to bring along any sacred objects that inspire you—beads, feathers, crystals, or fur—to personalize your drum and mallet further. After our creative endeavors, we will gather for a heartfelt drum ceremony, celebrating the completion of our first day together. The next day promises even more excitement as you craft your unique drum-playing mallet and dive into the rhythms and techniques that transform your drum into a powerful tool for connection, healing, and ceremony. You'll learn sacred songs that will echo in your heart long after the workshop ends. We will culminate our time together with a special ceremony to activate the unique energy of your new drum, forging a beautiful bond between you and your creation. *Workshop times each day (Sat & Sun) are 12:30-5pm giving time for the drum to dry some overnight Sat. evening into Sun.
