Sourdough Bread Workshop with Essie

Join us at Victory Brewing Kennett Square and learn to create your own sourdough bread with master, Essie Griffin. This class will consist of a thorough demonstration of each step of the breadmaking process. You will learn the master recipe Essie uses, plus lots of tips and tricks, to make a delicious boule of sourdough.

Essie will have the dough ready at each step of the process so you can see exactly what needs to be done as well as what the dough should look like at each step. Essie will stop throughout the demonstration to answer any questions. There will also be bread to sample during the class.

Each person will be given their own weck jar and do the “feeding of the starter” portion in the middle of the class as well as leave with their own jar and a complete instruction manual. All flours used are artisan quality and certified organic when possible.
