I don't know if you've ever researched sour dough and then seen all of the rules and measurements and timings...... but my head nearly explodes when I look at how difficult some methods are.
My simple sour dough method doesn’t take 2 days and a master's degree. It’s a game changer!
Saturday 9th November - 10am to 2pm (SA Time) - $165 per person.
Sourdough is incredible; its tangy flavour is like no other. But did you know it can do so much more than make bread? There is a whole world of possibilities where the Sourdough starter is used to create something totally unique.
In this class, I’m going to show you how to make a starter, and how to keep your starter alive and healthy without it being a full-time job. I’ll show you how to make it work for you - not the other way around!
Then I want to show you how versatile the Sourdough starter can be and how easy it is to crank out a loaf of delicious bread. You get to take home some of my active starter and a loaf of bread to take home with you, ready to bake. Then……
We’ll make Sourdough Crumpets. These are incredible and taste nothing like the crumpets you buy from the supermarket.
Next, I’ll show you how to make a Sourdough Cracker. Perfectly versatile it can be topped with seeds, herbs, cheese…. let your imagination run wild!
Hello Sour Dough Bagels, created and eaten within the 4 hours of this class, this one is so good!
Come along for a hands on day of fun. Bring a friend or family member or come on your own, I can’t wait to share Sour Dough with you!
