Soup for you!
We were recently informed that on September 16th, Soup & Bread West hosted by Robert’s Westside is to benefit a lil thing we do called Presents for Heroes. Y’all may have heard about it in the past 10 years or something 😉
This event is one that individuals in the community donate their time and culinary skills to help raise money and awareness for local causes. Think of it as a soup flight for charity!
All proceeds will go towards purchasing items for our Presents for Heroes event. Additionally, we’ll be onsite to collect items from our wishlist which is pinned to this event and will have a QR code that will take those in attendance to our wishlist during the event. As you know, we always try to maximize our impact at as many VA facilities as possible and this event can be a great springboard into our seasonal drive.
Please share this event with friends and family. I know a great many of you live in or close to the community so sharing creates maximum impact. It’s also a bit of a homecoming as our host is in the former bar where many of us spent our younger years in Forest Park! If anyone would like to donate their soup expertise (looking at a couple of you in particular) you’re more than welcome to donate your nummy creations!
