February 9th speaker is Chelsey Eberwein (Manager of Adolescent Services & Community Engagement, Central Kansas Foundation). Her bio:
Chelsey Eberwein is a dedicated and mission‑driven professional with four years of experience at CKF Addiction Treatment and more than 15 years supporting healthy lifestyles, prevention, outreach, and recovery services across Kansas. As the Manager of Adolescent Services and Community Engagement, Chelsey leads with innovation, compassion, and a commitment to creating meaningful, lasting impact.
Throughout her career at CKF, Chelsey has contributed across peer services, adolescent programming, marketing and development, case management, and wellness initiatives. Her leadership has played a key role in expanding CKF’s adolescent programs, school‑based outreach, and community engagement efforts statewide. She is known for her self‑driven approach, creativity, and problem‑solving skills that consistently move programs and initiatives forward.
Chelsey holds a Business certificate from Salina Area Technical College and is currently working on her bachelor’s degree in social work. She is dually certified as a Kansas Certified Peer Mentor, Person Centered Case Manager, and Kansas Certified Peer Specialist, and she also holds an International Certification in Harm Reduction. Her expertise in community outreach, stakeholder engagement, and digital strategy has strengthened CKF’s visibility and impact.
A proud Salina native, Chelsey is deeply committed to giving back to her home community and believes in meeting individuals where they are to foster connection, education, and support. She strongly believes that young people are our future and that creating safe, supportive environments is essential to helping them thrive. Rooted in the belief that knowledge is power, Chelsey is a passionate advocate for prevention and early intervention efforts. She is dedicated to walking alongside high‑risk youth so that potential concerns such as challenges related to mental health, addiction, or involvement in the justice system can be addressed early, with compassion and care.
