About this Event
What is a Sound Bath? A sound bath is a meditative experience where participants relax while being surrounded by soothing sound waves from instruments like singing bowls, chimes, and gongs. These gentle vibrations help promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support emotional and physical well-being and are suitable for everyone, (including sceptics)!
Every sound bath is unique and experiences differ from person to person. the complex sounds produced during a sound bath can help the mind achieve a meditative-like state, which is particularly helpful for those who struggle with traditional meditation practices. Come with an open mind and embrace any feelings as they arise.
What to Expect? During this session you will relax in a comfortable lying position whilst being immersed in sound frequencies that create a peaceful, restorative environment.
What to bring? Please bring a blanket and wear comfortable clothing. Bringing a pillow for extra comfort is optional.
About Emily: Emily is a classical musician, personal trainer and gym manager with over 10 years of experience in the fitness and wellbeing industry. In recent years she has prioritised her love of music by exploring the physical and emotional benefits of sound on the mind and body.
Health and Safety: Sound baths are not suitable for individuals with pacemakers, those with epilepsy, or anyone who is particularly sensitive to sound. Sound baths are also not suitable for women in the first trimester of pregnancy. Pregnant women attending past their first trimester must provide a note from their doctor approving their participation. If you have any concerns, please consult your GP before attending a session.
Ticket conditions: Please arrive 10-minutes before the start of the session, late arrivals will not be admitted. Unfortunately tickets are non-transferrable if you miss the event.
