About this Event
Join us for a gentle, grounding Cha Dao Tea Ceremony led by Olena Nigmatoulline, a meditative ritual designed to bring presence, intention, and connection. Through the quiet rhythm of pouring and sipping, you’ll be guided into a space of inner reflection and deep calm.
Enjoy a live soundscape from Ryan Warner - immerse yourself in the soothing vibrations of quartz crystal bowls, steel tongue drum, flutes, tuning tubes, and more. The soothing resonance of these instruments will weave through the ceremony, inviting your body and spirit to soften, settle, and receive.
**Space is limited!** Register here or text 740-507-0431 to reserve a spot (Venmo or cash also accepted). This event will be held at a home within the Heron Crossing subdivision in Reynoldsburg - exact address provided after booking or inquiry.
What is a Tea Ceremony?
A tea ceremony is a mindful, meditative practice of preparing, serving, and drinking tea with presence and intention. Unlike casual tea drinking, a tea ceremony invites you to slow down, quiet the mind, and connect deeply—with yourself, with awareness of others and the space around you.
While there are many cultural styles, modern contemplative tea ceremonies are typically non-religious and focus on:
- Stillness and presence
- Ritual and simplicity
- Awareness of the senses
- Connection to the natural world
The tea is usually served in silence or soft quiet, allowing participants to drop into the moment. The host prepares and pours tea slowly, often using loose-leaf, whole plant teas in small cups. Guests are invited to receive the tea as a form of nourishment and meditation.
