Sound Practitioner Training: Professional Practice
About this Event
Excellent facilitation and professional practice are different skill sets. Both can be developed.
Being professional doesn’t mean becoming corporate. You do not need to wear a business suit to a sound session or make your work feel stiff. You can take the business side seriously without losing the personality, creativity or feeling that made you want to do this in the first place.
Professional Practice is a two-day intensive for sound and wellness practitioners who want to develop the practical skills required to present their work professionally, create stronger offerings and work across public events, private sessions, retreats, corporate wellness and hospitality.
The weekend is focused specifically on the realities of building a professional practice in the wellness industry, from defining what you offer and communicating your work clearly to pricing, partnerships, professional presentation and working with organizations.
The training will be practical and hands-on. You will work directly on your own practice throughout the weekend and leave with materials you can actually use.
What We’ll Cover
Professional Positioning
Learn how to define your work clearly and communicate it with confidence.
We’ll explore how strong positioning shapes the way your practice is understood, who it attracts and how it is perceived across different professional settings.
Offer Architecture
Develop a more intentional approach to how your work is structured and presented.
We’ll look at how practitioners translate their skills into offers that make sense across private practice, public programming, retreats, partnerships, corporate wellness and hospitality.
Pricing & Commercial Decision-Making
Build a clearer framework for evaluating the financial side of your work.
We’ll examine how pricing, delivery costs, capacity and opportunity fit together so you can make stronger decisions about what to pursue or decline, and how to build a practice that is sustainable over time.
Professional Presence
Learn how to present your work in a way that reflects the quality of what you do.
We’ll explore the signals that shape trust and perception before a client or organization ever works with you directly.
Partnerships & Opportunity Development
Understand how meaningful professional opportunities are actually created.
We’ll look at the role of relationships, reputation, strategic outreach and collaboration in developing work with venues, organizations, retreats, corporate clients and hospitality partners.
Corporate & Hospitality Readiness
Develop an understanding of what changes when your work moves into professional, organizational and hospitality environments.
We’ll look at what is expected when you bring your work into another organization, from how you communicate and prepare to how you represent yourself and deliver the work.
Professional Systems
Understand the systems behind a well-run practice.
We’ll look at how stronger systems across the client journey, administration and delivery can create greater consistency, protect your time and make your practice easier to grow.

Hands-On Development
This weekend is designed to be applied.
