Experience the great American songbook through the eclectic and playful lens of Lee Konitz, Warne Marsh, and Lennie Tristano. These jazz musicians stood out from their contemporaries for the rhythmically for their tuneful improvising and use of odd but satisfying rhythmic patterns. They utilized these traits to compose new melodies over jazz standards, and we will be performing those compositions at this show! Matt Incontro is excited to return to Pausa and explore this music.
