Sound Immersion in Union Terminal's Rotunda

Join us for a Sound Immersion in the Rotunda with Osher Center for Integrative Health facilitated by Sonya Verma and Daniel Hall.
Experience an immersive journey of sound and deep listening designed to encourage relaxation, reflection and restoration. This restorative sound immersion offers a supportive space to slow down, rest deeply and reconnect with yourself through resonant live acoustic sound. This will be our first-ever sound immersion experience in the acoustically resonant Union Terminal Rotunda so we're excited to welcome you!
Using instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, didgeridoos, flutes, chimes, harp, handpan and other nature inspired sounds, participants are guided through an evolving soundscape that supports mindful awareness, nervous system regulation and deep rest. The experience invites moments of stillness and self reflection while cultivating a deeper connection to the present moment.
Participants are welcome to lie down or sit comfortably as sound unfolds throughout the space. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, or any other items that will help you rest comfortably during the experience. Chairs may also be used if preferred. No prior experience is necessary.
