About this Event

Thursday January 14, 2027

9:30am – 12:30pm

In this SoulCollage® group session, we draw 13 cards from our deck (or pull 13 images from our stash of pictures or magazines). Each of these images will be your guide and inspiration for every month of the coming year.

An optional perspective from the 12 astrological houses will be introduced to offer another lens through which your cards may bring insight and guidance.

Participants in this session will receive a monthly check-in and journal prompts (via email) with reference to each month’s card. This year-long practice keeps you connected with your deck and your SoulCollage® community.

Note:

Bring your SoulCollage® cards, if you choose, although it is not required.

Handout and supplies for the class will be provided.

No prior experience of SoulCollage® is required. All are welcome.

$25 - online registration one week prior, or until session is full

Facilitator: Marinda Stopforth

Marinda Stopforth’s passion for SoulCollage® (SC) began as a student of the practice on 2010. The beautiful, collaged imagery, their stories, and how the cards were used for readings intrigued her to find a teacher and start making cards! Since then, SC has become a visual diary and part of her regular journaling practice. Many wise facilitators, including the TAU Center’s SC group, lead Marinda to become a SC facilitator in 2020.

She has offered SC in a variety of settings: small, in-person groups, on zoom, at conferences and individual, one-on-one sessions. Marinda appreciates the balance of creativity, quiet reflection and journaling, and the wisdom of the practice that can lead to deep understanding of our Whole Self.

Marinda is a residential trainer for the Monroe Institute, a research and education organization that studies consciousness, in VA. She has been a residential and online facilitator for the institute since 2006. (monroeinstitute.org)

Marinda is a curious maker-of-things, including handmade books and prayer beads (malas). She is a Zentangle® teacher (CZT17), a quilter, knitter and loves to spend time in her basement art studio dabbling in all kinds of creative play.
