Soulbrations 18: Open Mic Series

As many of you know, after 17 years of #PoetryInMotion, we brought back a different iteration of "poetry night" 2 years ago through an event called the Soulbrations Open Mic Series (Hosted by Devine Carama), featuring JK-47.
We've tinkered with the format a bit (not too much) to highlight upcoming poets and vocalists while also being a safe space for "everyday folks" to come out and express themselves regularly.
We are excited to start patronizing The Melroy downtown!! Join us Tuesday, July 14th. Doors open at 8 pm, and the show starts at 8:30 pm. Tell a friend and join us. It's going to be a SOULbration!!! This will be the second set of 2026!!

Things to keep in mind:
The kitchen and bar will be open!
Remember, this is a poetry night! There will be times in the evening to show up and have a good time, but please be respectful when the performer is on the mic. That moment of expression could be life-changing for them or someone else!
Doors open at 8 pm, and poetry starts at 8:30 pm! Seating is limited, so arrive early.
