Does anyone else feel like life has just been a lot lately?
Constant stimulation, rushing from one thing to the next, busy minds, tired bodies, trying to “rest” but never fully switching off.
Next Saturday afternoon I’m holding a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra session at Yoga Sanctuary designed to support deep rest for the nervous system, body and mind.
This is a very gentle and accessible practice, with most of the session spent lying down comfortably, wrapped in blankets, simply being guided into a state of rest and relaxation. No yoga experience or flexibility is needed at all.
A lot of people describe Yoga Nidra as feeling like:
* A nervous system reset
* Deep meditation without needing to “do” anything
* Rest they didn’t realise they needed
* The first time they’ve properly slowed down in weeks
We’ve shifted the session to a gentler 4pm start time to hopefully make it more accessible and supportive for people wanting to ease into their evening and weekend.
The session will also include optional journaling, oracle cards and a warm closing circle.
