Soul In The Sun

“Soul In The Sun” is presented by the High Sheriff of Leicestershire and sponsored by Soul Heaven and Winstanley House.

The sounds will be provided by DJ Peps and Soul Jamaica’s Neil P, with a mix of soul, R&B, and reggae in the relaxed summer garden atmosphere of Winstanley House.

Let’s celebrate the generation that rebuilt our communities after WW2.

All in support of Caribbean Court, an organisation caring for the older West Indian Community.

The Caribbean Court Day Centre provides services that enhance the health and wellbeing of those over 50 with particular emphasis on the African Caribbean heritage community.

They operate in the city of Leicester and surrounding areas.

With nearly 50 years of experience working with African Caribbean elders, they have developed an expertise about our elders in relation to understanding their needs, aspirations and the challenges they face every day.

In addition, they welcome people from all other ethnic groups and communities to fulfil their diverse needs.
