SoSF PNM Volunteer Event: GLIDE Daily Free Meals Program

The GLIDE Daily Free Meals Program needs help preparing food as well as serving it— the chefs spend most of the day cooking which leaves little time for prep. Volunteers will help chop vegetables, sort food donations, make salads, and assemble bagged lunches.
Important: To attend this volunteer shift, you must also sign up here : SoSF GLIDE 2/25/2025 Sign Up Form. Please register on Eventbrite and GLIDE's Form at the latest by 2/25/2025.
Liability Waivers: Please sign the Adult Waiver have an version ready, electronic or printed by the day of. If needed, we can also sign waivers the day of the event.
Dress Code: Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing suitable for an active work environment and close-toed shoes. Volunteers CANNOT wear open-toed shoes, heeled shoes, shorts/skirts/dresses or shirts without sleeves.
CANCELLATION POLICY: We want to maintain a positive relationship with the nonprofits we work with. Please note that signing up is not a placeholder. Please only sign up if you know for a fact you can attend the event. In the event you need to cancel your shift, you must cancel your shift on Eventbrite and find a Spinster to replace you. Notification for cancellation to thePhilanthropy Director under 24 hours before an event will result in a $25 fine.
