Sonic Meditation led by Lily French, Sound Healer, LISW, LMT, RMTDuring sonic meditations, you will experience the gift of group toning – a simple yet powerful technique, accessible to everyone. You will create tones, or sustained vowel sounds, that resonate with you. Within the group, each person adds their own tone to the mix, building a tapestry of sound. The practice of breathing and creating communal sound is an intuitive, joyful, and playful practice that produces a variety of energetic cleansing and healing effects. Come together to find, strengthen, and share your unique tone while intentionally creating positive vibrations for yourself and for our community.
Lily French, an Alchemical Sound Healer practicing since 2003, will facilitate the sonic meditation. Basics in the practice of vocal toning will be covered, then we will cycle through two rounds of intentional toning – first for our own healing and then for the healing of others. Group toning will last up to 45 minutes with an additional 15 minutes for silence, journaling and optional reflection.
Cost: Donation based. Sliding scale $0-15
