A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family and community. It's been so snowy, and a lot of people have been sick lately--so take care of yourself! I'm still getting over the tail end of a December cold...
But, I'm happy to be able to confirm that after the snowstorm getting in the way of the Advent Concert, we are re-scheduled for Saturday, January 24th at 7pm at the Irish Association Theatre, 654 Erin Street, who have generously transferred dates for me.
If you have already purchased a ticket but are unable to attend, please contact me for a refund.
Obviously, it won't be an Advent concert anymore, so we'll work through some non-carol Christmas songs, and sing about God's light and revelation in Epiphany. A perk of rescheduling is that I get to introduce to you another excellent songwriter joining us from western Manitoba: Christine Paddock. We met while taking a songwriting course with Brian Doerksen, and she wasn't able to make the December date.
Tickets are available via my website (www.rachelcolmanmusic.com) for $22 or by cash at the door ($25). Proceeds from this concert will go towards recording my next album, along with a donation to A Rocha Manitoba's environmental conservation efforts to plant a tree or two.
