Shivering Strings Winnipeg is a weekend fiddle camp running the weekend of Jan. 16-18, 2026. Join us to learn new fiddle tunes or learn about accompanying fiddle tunes on the piano or guitar. There will also be old time dancing, jamming, and great food.
This year with a masterclass lead by the fantastic Daniel Gervais!

Cost: $150 per person
Includes: Friday Jam, Saturday/Sunday Workshop, Square Dance, Delicious Saturday Lunch, Wonderful Sunday Snack, Sound Files and sheet music for all levels!

Registration and Jam Session: 7:00 pm - 9:00pm
NEW! This year our own Patti Kusturok has made a Manitoba Jam Tunes book that we'll be using during this jam. Purchase yours when you pay your registration fee and pick up your hard copy the night of the Jam.
Saturday during the day
Location: Broadway First Baptist Church, 790 Honeyman Ave., Winnipeg.
Classes: 10:00 am - 3:45 pm
Lunch included with your registration
Saturday evening
Location: Ukrainian Labour Temple, 591 Pritchard Ave, Winnipeg, MB
DANCE!! 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm (late night lunch served)
Dance entry fee included with your registration

Classes: 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm, Final Play through of Tunes 4:30 pm -5:15 pm
Snacks included
You can invite your people to come and listen to the final play through of tunes! (Silver collection at the door)

Jan. 17th, 7pm, 2026, where you can travel around the dance floor during waltzes, fox trots, and two-steps as well join hands and learn how to square dance.
