Song Circle in South Shields

I’d like to welcome you to my next Sacred Song Circle on the 5th November. In this session we will gather to enjoy the simple pleasure and healing that comes when we sing with others. We will sing songs that remind us of the beauty around us, the Earth, the Cosmos and the Heart.
We will begin with breathwork and a short meditation to consciously connect our voices with our hearts. We will sing in a variety of ways including mantras, healing sounds, intuitive group singing and contemporary folk songs.
What is a singing circle? It’s a place to sing, for the sheer joy of it. It is not about having the perfect voice. Mantras and sacred sounds balance our energy field and raise our vibration; singing in this way becomes a dynamic and powerful meditation. Singing in a group is always a beautiful experience and a lovely way to feel connection to self and community.

You may want to bring:
A blanket or yoga mat to sit on
A meditation cushion or stool
A water bottle
A journal to write down any insights
