Join Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham and County Manager Cindy Chavez to cut the ribbon on Homewise's second residential community in Albuquerque! Sombra del Oeste includes 72 thoughtfully designed townhomes with 2 and 3-bedroom layouts and features all-electric construction. Meeting Homewise’s mission to create successful homeowners, 50% of the units will offer deep affordability for income qualified families and all of the homes will be priced below the median sale price of Albuquerque.

Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, guests are invited to tour the model homes, enjoy cooking demonstrations by the Street Food Institute, and learn more about the innovative, energy-efficient features that make Sombra del Oeste a new model for sustainable homeownership.
