About this Event
Grounded: Body-Based Tools for Anxiety and Overwhelm is a gentle, guided somatics workshop designed to support participants in reconnecting with their bodies as a source of safety, regulation, and calm.
In this session, you will be led through a somatic meditation that invites awareness back into the body through breath, sensation, and mindful presence. Rather than focusing on “fixing” anxiety or overwhelm, this practice offers tools to meet those experiences with grounding, compassion, and curiosity.
Somatic work helps us shift out of the thinking mind and into the body, where we can begin to notice how stress and emotion are held physically, and how we can gently support the nervous system in returning to balance. Participants will be guided through simple, accessible practices that can be used in everyday life to support moments of stress, anxiety, or overwhelm.
No prior experience with meditation or somatic practices is required. This is a welcoming, trauma-informed space where participants are invited to move at their own pace and engage in whatever way feels safe and supportive for their body.
